Until the very last second

Every morning we have a choice.

Work half-heartedly, count the hours until the end of the day, live from Friday to Friday.

Or go out there as if today decides everything.

Because one day it really will.

Life rarely warns you when that moment is coming.

It doesn't put up a sign: "Attention, the next five minutes will change your career."

No.

It simply gives you five more minutes.

And watches who keeps working when everyone else has already mentally gone home.

That's where the difference appears.

The difference between people who spend their whole lives explaining why things didn't work out...

And those who are once called winners.

Victory never comes with a bang.

It's made up of minutes.

Calls you didn't want to make.

Emails you wanted to put off until tomorrow.

Todos no one will check.

From the last effort, when it seems there's no more strength left.

That's where results are born.

Do you think the last minutes of the workday don't change anything?

You're wrong.

History favors those who stay in the game until the end.

Remember the 2002 Olympics.

The short track final.

Stephen Bradbury is last.

He's not the hero of the day.

Not the favorite.

Nobody's looking at him.

Everyone's looking at the leaders.

The last lap.

The last turn.

And that's when the leaders collide.

Everyone falls.

And the person who just kept running...

Wins the Olympics.

Not because he was the fastest.

But because he didn't stop.

That's the main lesson.

In life, it's not always the most talented who wins.

Not always the smartest.

And not even always the strongest.

Very often, the one who continues to do their job when everyone else has given up wins.

So tomorrow…

Don't just come to work.

Come to win.

Start from the first minute.

Don't be late.

Don't slow down.

Don't switch off five minutes before the end.

Because none of us knows which minute will be the one.

The one after which everything will change.

And when that moment comes…

I want you to be the people who stand on their feet.

Still working.

Still moving forward.

Because victory doesn't favor those who start out well.

It comes to those who don't stop fighting until the very last second.
