You know, at one time I will also give over,
The fear of admitting—I lived out of line,
That, dreaming of shapes, I was simply a rover,
Who fell into arms, the wrong ones, and malign.
Believed in salvation but was not a saver,
I ran from the hand that protected my back.
I chose separation, not in the world’s favor,
And hid my dismay in a silence of black.
But what if one day our essay will expire,
And we will become just a crumbled remain—
I’ll pick up my way for your league to acquire,
Where fires of eons your green eyes contain.
Let all that we know go away unregarded,
Let stars in the sky blur their light to the void, –
I’ll give you my love, bright and heavenly-minded,
Akin to the life that's “here” only enjoyed.
