Was awarded to
Nikolai Fyodorovich Gastello,
who did not return from a mission
To the same area for the bombing
of the Minsk Highway on June 26, 1941, -

О подвиге подчиненного
Командиру полка,
Списан был в ПРОПАВШИЕ
Без ВЕСТИ,
Что лишило его жену
И пятилетнего сына, -
(Ставшего впоследствии
 полковником ВВС СССР/РФ), -
На все холодные и голодные
Годы войны
И послевоенной разрухи
Права на пенсию и льготы,
Полагавшиеся семьям
Погибших на фронте воинов.
