The Fearless Hearts
Where no one knew our names.
A little house of wood and sand,
Beneath a pure, unclouded sky.
The morning found us differently,
Without the masks we wore.
You looked at me the way the sun
Looks at the sleeping shore.
No crowns to carry on our heads,
No sorrows, no battles left to win.
Just your tender hand in my hand,
And the newfound peace between us.
We were never enemies, my love,
We were two wounded shores,
The sea had touched our hearts,
Before we knew each other's names.
The fearless hearts are not the ones
Who've never known fear.
They are the ones who open the door
And let another into their heart.
I was a man afraid of love,
A captain lost inside the deep blue.
I crossed a thousand oceans,
But every wave led me to you.
I thought that love was a weakness,
A door that pain could enter through.
I didn't know that losing someone
Could be the thing that saves you too.
And if tomorrow takes all the stars,
And leaves us with the sea...
I'll still have everything I need,
If you are here with me.
I touched your face and finally said
The truth I hid for years...
"The strongest walls I ever built
Were only made of fear.
My father left me with a promise,
To never let love break me.
But then you came with a red rose
And taught my heart to breathe".
You wrapped yourself in darkness,
You learned the language of the waves.
But underneath the blackened sails
Was the girl who still believed in love.
Then came a ship from the old world,
With all the things we used to chase.
My name, your legend, our forgotten glory,
Waiting for us beyond the waves.
So let the old ships sail without us,
Let the old stories fade away.
We found a treasure no one can steal,
A place where two hearts choose to stay.
Now, every morning, as a gift to the sea,
You bring a rose at dawn.
Not as a goodbye to the past,
But as love reborn.
The waves don't take it from your hands,
They carry it with grace.
A red rose dancing on the waves,
Like sunlight on your face.
And if the world forgets our names,
And legends disappear,
Two fearless hearts will still remain,
Forever living here.
