From three lives to three leaves

                "A life and a leaf—both are fleeting,
                both move through cycles and
                transformation".

Once in autumn, at my feet,
Three leaves fell from the sky so fleet.
One told of what had come to pass,
Another showed the present’s glass,
The third held dreams that never grew —
What might have been, but never knew.

This is life, so live it bold,
In the present, not the old.
Leave the past where shadows fall,
Let the future heed its call.
Forget “how it should be” they say, —
Just be yourself and find your way.

Once all the stars at last grow dim,
And dawn shall not arise for it,
Nor for us — though we depart,
Forever keep my face, my art,
Within your mind, when eyes shut…
Together still in dreams we’ll dwell,
This life — a dream where miracles swell.
In hearts that true, we’ll abide,
Whatever comes, don’t ask “why”,
Just be yourself — that’s how to fly.

This is life, so live it bold,
In the present, not the old.
Leave the past where shadows fall,
Let the future heed its call.
Forget “how it should be” they say, —
Just be yourself and find your way.
