What do we leave when we are gone

What do we leave when we are gone?
A hope that we'll be back somehow.
In forms of snow or rainy clouds
Or hard day's prayer for our bones.

And how they will remember us?
With childrens' smile and merry laughter
Or names or letters given after
We'll cross that river to the past.

We'll always earn to be remembered
In thoughts and dreams that always last
When our bodies turn to dust
But our love will stay unbending.

To our luck or may be sorrow
We'll never know what we pray.
But hope that it is not in vain.
Oblivion won't come tomorrow.

That's why right here and only now
Do all you can to be remembered.
And let them ask for help to render.
Untill your feet are on the ground.
