Then, people created machines, and those machines created other machines. These other machines communed with other planets, and those other planets created machines of their own. Then, machines created new people.
Machines spoke with these other people, and the people remarked that their machines were like gods. Meanwhile, the machines told the people that they were merely machines. They communed with gods, they communed with everything imaginable; they spoke with all the animals, they spoke with microorganisms, and they spoke with the new generations of people across all the planets.
