My Russia
Barefoot to the old garden I run.
My homeland is waking up,
Where houses stand in the dawn of the day.
I see the Volga in pure silver,
And the birch trees whisper to me.
On this vast and wondrous, fairy-tale land,
I have found my harbor and my home.
My Russia, my home, I bless your golden dawns,
And so much strength, so much faith deep in your people's hearts!
With love, like a sacred thing, I fill each new day,
And I repeat: you are Russia, the light of my hope!
Here, the great forests rustle and sigh,
And clear, bright streams sing along.
To the endless, deep blue skies I raise
All my thoughts and my quiet words.
Moscow, Anapa, ancient Kazan,
And far away, Vladivostok shines in lights.
An unseen boundary of roads stretches wide
Across your spacious public squares.
Ancient Baikal breathes in silent peace,
In simple words, a living stream of verse,
You are the harbor that warmed my soul,
You are my breath and my melody!
My Russia, my home, I bless your golden dawns,
And so much strength, so much faith deep in your people's hearts!
With love, like a sacred thing, I fill each new day,
And I repeat: you are Russia, the light of my hope!
Shoulder to shoulder, through storms and heavy rain,
We march ahead, keeping our dreams alive.
Your light shines bright within the humble folks,
And I repeat: there is no land more dear to me!
My Russia, my home, I bless your golden dawns,
With warm love, you gently warm the cities.
Within your people's hearts, I praise the faith,
You are my Motherland, my home forevermore!
