AT EXACTLY 4:00 a.m.
On June 22nd, at exactly 4:00 a.m.,
Kyiv was bombed by vultures
With wings covered in black crosses.
That day is far, far away.
The years have long since flown by,
But an even greater disaster
Has been brought to the city again.
Residential buildings are crumbling,
Churches are in ruins again.
The world is a bad place, people,
Where wars thunder and thunder.
The world is a bad place, people, -
Villages are burning again,
Funeral notices are flying from the front
To soldiers' families.
On June 22nd, at exactly 4:00 a.m.,
Kyiv was bombed by vultures...
And again, explosions thunder there.
