Ars inveniendi English version

music: Ryuichi Sakamoto — Solitude

I take the needle, quiet and precise,
To stitch the frayed illusions of my youth.
I pay the world its necessary price,
And weave a stunning fiction from the truth.

I paint the distant cities on the glass,
The gentle conversations, calm and deep.
I watch the carefully constructed hours pass,
And tuck the screaming monsters into sleep.

The canvas comes alive in vibrant hues,
With summer plans and tickets on the train.
I softly brush away the darkest blues,
And paint a quiet grace across the pain.

No sudden tears, no trembling in the hand,
The gallery is flawlessly aligned.
I execute exactly what I planned,
And leave the heavy emptiness behind.

I drop the brush. The final hue is cast,
With nothing left to conquer or forgive.
I’ve built my flawless paradise at last...
It’s just a pity I don't want to live.
