Sitting on Olympus, bored to death,
Scrolling through the chaos – catch a breath?
Hephaestus tweaks the socket, loose the wire,
The Master Bolt is stuck in cosmic mire.

They promised justice, lightning from the sky,
A plasma javelin with a vengeful eye.
But the capacitor is leaking, circuits fried,
Zeus is screaming, "Someone hit 'rewind'!"

It doesn't strike the tyrant, doesn't hit the thief,
Just burns the pensioner and crisps the leaf!
The targeting system is blind and old,
A myth of power, bought and sold.

Misses the mark, scorches the sand,
