Around Moon and come to Earth
Upward!
Through frost and the abyss, through meteors and dread,
Four bold ones—
a heavenly crew,
A resolute step ahead.
To her, the blue one,
Who shyly averts her gaze,
And ever turns her right cheek our way.
They broke
Free from the pull of the earth,
In the steel-clad ship’s embrace.
To them, space is no tale, no dream, no pain,
But a field where the will is forged in the flame,
Where every mile is a letter again
In the chronicle of newfound fame!
“Integrity”—
With honour’s name rising high,
It called back the routes
Of Earth’s dreams gone by.
In the Moon’s silver veil, in the orbit’s slow glide,
In the longing to open the cosmos so wide,
To conquer the vast beyond space and its tide,
From satellite to the far star’s light.
Four bold ones
In a boat of steel,
Nine fortunate days in flight.
Not just a route, not a dry report’s line,
But the first thunderclap of victories to shine!
That tomorrow’s world may rise o’er the brink,
And humankind become lord of the planets, we think.
Through days of free fall and the crush of G-force,
Through cold and dark night, past the silent border’s course—
A path is etched on the sky’s chart, of course,
So we may live among the stars, real and sure.
Are we worthy?
Let the Moon give reply!
Let space show our true stature and height!
Their voyage—a reason for Earth to be proud,
Our first cosmic bridge, shining bright.
Hark!
People
Of Earth and of Light!
Space is our future home, in sight!
“Integrity” traced the way,
Into the unknown, day by day,
And came back alive, come what may.
