Life feels easy and well off
Capitol's just half a block out

Mexican construction workers
Talking to each other loud
Traffic buzzing down the L street
Up above there's not a cloud
This life's shielded off from dangers
Towels brought in by a clerk
Cocktails waiting in the lobby
If you're cold there's a hot tub
If you're sweating there's umbrellas
If you're thirsty, get a drink
Visa, Mastercard, what have you
We'll be with you in a blink
Taking care of all your wishes
Making sure you're fed and safe
When you pay you are my master
When you pay I am your slave
