Hunter Biden has spoken out against President Donald Trump’s claims that he is 6’3 and weighs 224 pounds in a scathing comment on Gavin Newsom’s podcast.

Former president Joe Biden’s son appeared on This is Gavin Newsom where they chatted about all things politics amid a series of other topics.

The conversation quickly turned to Trump and the subject of authenticity, during which Hunter questioned what you do with “a guy who basically claims it all”, and “that takes ownership for all of the things”. It comes just days after a lip reader revealed Trump's desperate 8-word plea as he was brutally booed at the New York Knicks game.

Hunter goes on to say there is a stark difference between being audacious and being authentic. Addressing Trump’s “audacity”, he slammed the president for lying about his physical stats.

“Donald Trump has the audacity to say that he’s 6’3 and weighs 224 pounds… when we both know he’s 5’11 and 300,” Hunter tells Newsom. “That is the difference between being audacious and authentic.”

The claims about Trump’s weight come after the White House claimed the-then 79-year-old president weighed 224 pounds and is 6’3 after his physical in April.

While that means the president’s BMI sits firmly in the ‘overweight’ category at 28, he drew in much criticism from people who believed his height was inflated and weight lowballed.

The video, posted on social media platform X, was inundated with opinions on both sides of the coin - some in support of Trump and others backing Biden.

One person wrote, in favour of Hunter’s comments: “Trump thinks wearing a 6ft long tie makes him look slim. Trump is way past a tie making him look slim. He is 300 pounds of fat in an ill fitting suit and nothing can hide that reality.”

A second X user commented: “Education matters, stupid people believe Trump’s lies and think that he is a strong man. When in reality he is a weak spoiled, vengeful, vindictive, cry baby protected by mafia.”

“Definitely 5’11. The 2 inch lifts put him at Obama’s height of 6’1. I think he’s under 300 [pounds]. Probably 285-290,” speculated a third person.

However, it’s safe to say Biden and Newsom encountered a lot of criticism from viewers, with people accusing them of being untrustworthy.

“So riveting! So interesting… I couldn’t take my eyes off of the biggest morons playing off of each others’ 3 brain cells between the two of them! Amazing,” a comment read.

Another said: “It would be best if Hunter Biden was never publicly heard from again. He should go off and have a peaceful joyful life. He offers nothing to the Democrat political discourse.”

It comes after the real reason Kai Trump posted edited footage without her grandfather Donald being booed was exposed.
