The sea and you
Where the waves cradle the memory of the departed day.
I will never break the vow of silence here,
As long as this abyss pitilessly hides you.
You are the salt on the lips, you are the coolness of the midnight blue,
In which the phantom of a distant star sways.
We have become strangers on this endless plain,
Where our last footprints are washed away by the current.
Припев
O sea, tell me, why this long torment?
Why in your abysses do I see the familiar features?
You are the storm of my unrequited, secret sound,
Where the wild sea and you have merged forever.
My spirit fades away, entwined by your depth,
Where eternal fidelity crowns my parting.
The sand cools down, absorbing the last sighs,
And the foam creeps in, washing away the remnants of warmth.
Only bitter crumbs remain of our universe,
Which the storm took away with its wave.
You beckon with coolness, hiding the ferocious cliffs,
You whisper forgiveness, caressing the wounded hearing.
So ghostlily little of our former love remains,
But its flame has not yet dared to go out.

Why in your abysses do I see the familiar features?
You are the storm of my unrequited, secret sound,
Where the wild sea and you have merged forever.

Where eternal fidelity crowns my parting.
