Don t trample an Angel underfoot

Don’t turn away the Angel,
Don’t fire as he takes the sky.
When the road breaks into shadow,
He is there before you cry.

You run ahead — he’s running faster,
Pushing back the unseen wall.
Hoping you will whisper softly,
“I was lucky after all…”

He never asks for glory,
Never stands beneath applause —

But fear the silence if he leaves you,
Fear the stillness in the air.
Angels don’t return to hearts
That choose not to care.

Guard the light inside your dwelling,
Guard the flame that makes you whole.
He will always find his way back
To the house that’s called your Soul.

He can feel the weight of falling,
Knows how hard the ground can be.
Still he sends his quiet blessing
Wild and undeserved and free.

If he turns — the night grows colder,
Even stars refuse to shine.
Call him back with living kindness,
Let your mercy be the sign.

Fear the silence if he leaves you,
Fear the dark you cannot see.
Angels never stay forever
Where there’s no humanity.

Guard the light inside your dwelling,
Let compassion be your role.
And your Angel will return again
To the house that’s called your Soul.
