Bloody Orchids on the Grave

Cold marble cuts the flesh of my own knees,
The blackened earth soaked up the tears of bygone years.
There is no rest for torn-up fantasies,
Just petals screaming in my silent, sleepy fears.



I bring my offerings to the cursed cross,
The crimson juice flows down the stones of the domain.
We were betrayed to madness and to loss,
I tore my heart out, left it rotting in the rain.
The crowns of thorns grew right through your memory,
The deadly poison streams in veins of emptiness.
Nobody can cure this pain inside of me,
When cruel flowers bloom inside the dark abyss.


They feed upon my sorrow and my sins,
Their roots are drinking my love at the grave's deep end!
I lost the bloody fight where no one wins,
But these thick stems pull my life force, they descend!
