Lighthouse
Just reverberations of rewinded days,
I tried to fix what was hopelessly broke,
Replayed the words you never spoke.
I believed I could find the right way,
Shine like a lighthouse through a foggy day,
Through your silence and cold breeze,
Like sunrays crawling through the trees.
But every choice you couldn’t face
Left echoes that will never be erased,
You knew how much I'd sacrifice,
But still you paid the storm your Price.
And yet, if one day you knock my door,
Who would I be, if I say no?
