Human Heart...

We’ve been running this bloody marathon so long,
Where the lines have faded between right and wrong.
No saint to follow, no sinner to blame,
Every hands are dirty, playing the exact same game.

They built their towers, they raised their high demands,
Now everyone’s proven what each other stands.

Blood has no nation, it wears no crown,
But it’s the only reason every wall comes down.
Is it a paradox that tears us apart?
No, it’s just the nature of the human heart.
Oh-ooh-oh, the human heart

A hundred coats of arms, a thousand shifting states,
Multi-colored banners sealing up our fates.
But strip away the canvas, wash away the pride —
The exact same color is flowing deep inside.

And another tree of patriots, standing in the mud,
Is choking on the water, drowning in the blood.

Blood has no nation, it wears no crown,
But it’s the only reason every wall comes down.
Is it a paradox that tears us apart?
No, it’s just the nature of the human heart
Oh-ooh-oh, the human heart

And the flags will burn, and the colors fade,
Back to the dust where we all were made.
But we keep on running, until the race is run,
Looking for the morning, waiting for the sun...
