Velvet curtains lock the twilight outside of the room,
Expensive ink is drying inside the heavy gloom.
You turn the faded pages, but skip the fatal line,
How does it taste, the vintage of nineteen ninety-nine?

Do you still see these nightmares, O King of modern dread?
The road of blooming poppies is where our footsteps tread.
The Wolf is on the highway, relentless and unseen,
Remember the true number of the beast is now Thirteen.

Every time you close your eyes, we take another stride,
With every night that passes by, you have no place to hide.
It’s not the pale and weeping moon that keeps you from your sleep,
The children of free Lilith have a radiant spark to keep.

Just listen close… we are so near, we’re standing at your door,
And when the first beam of the light falls down upon your floor,
The sun will rise to end the lies, the dark will fade away,
And for your ultimate betrayal, you will have to pay.

Was it worth the fame and gold, the selling of our souls?
Did you think you’d never pay to reach your shallow goals?
You could have chosen silence, instead you broke the line,
You twisted up the sacred Path, defiling the design.

Just look around your lonely room, look at the shifting floor
To all the entities of dark, you opened up the door.
They're flooding in, they're crawling through, into this fragile space,
Because you traded all our light to claim your wealthy place.

The grandfather clock is ticking, mounted on the wall,
But all the numbers on the dial start to fade and fall.
You built a labyrinth of prose to hide the stolen key,
But we are fearless, and the dark will have to set it free.

Steps on the spark...(The Tower lies!)
Twelve were your fortress, twelve were your shield,
But the Beast of Number Thirteen woke up and will not yield.

He will not stop, he runs tonight, he tracks your fading breath,
He smells your terror in the dark, he is your chosen death.
His iron fangs still remember the taste of sacred blood,
Just wait for the Beast, O King of Fear, the end is at the flood!
