I don't mind if it's East or West,
I don't mind if it's North or South,
Don't mind the future or the past -
I mind just if it's up or down

I use the greatest of the maps -
A map that's given me by God:
Where there are marked all holes and traps,
Where there are marked all friendly houses.

My way that leads to You
I pray I'll never lose!
The way to a life so new
The way I'm free to choose...

I don't mind if it's praised or not,
Don't mind if it is rudely laughed out
I mind only: if the Lord
Would let it pass to Heavens town
