Есть Елисавета Чудотворица
В лике наших - греческих - святых,
Она из Константинополя,
До рожденья маме был открыт

Путь ее, как Божьего сосуда,
И ее отдали в монастырь,
Мерзла она бедная от стужи,
Но в душе горел огонь Любви.

Весь великий пост она не ела!
Лишь в уме во Господа вперясь.
И три года не смотрела в небо -
Ночью Свет ее осиявал.

Умерщвлен был змей ее молитвой,
Ток кровоточивой исцелел,
Отгоняла и духов нечистых,
От мощей ее слепой прозрел.
