The song of grape
There was a wild vineyard
On very barren soil,
Not worthy of any toil.
Its fruit was bitter,
Still magic was the grape,
It gave to skin a glitter,
And you become a slave.
My love is wine,
Take just a sip,
You cross the line –
You dive so deep,
In the ocean wild.
My love is wine.
There once was stupid thief
He put in grapes his teeth,
He was a rake, he was a rogue.
But he became an ugly frog.
Once maid ate it as a jest,
Soon stopped her breath,
She brought her town pest,
All eaters got their death.
My love is wine,
Take just a sip,
You cross the line –
You dive so deep,
In the ocean wild.
My love is wine.
But once there was a man,
He did what no one dared,
He talked with grape
He asked permission
Some berries to take,
The bush made decision,
That he is kind and brave.
And only he can wine make.
You came and made from berry wild,
The beverage delightful and so mild,
That no one would believe their eyes,
To speak with nature is so wise,
My love is wine,
Take just a sip,
You cross the line –
You dive so deep,
In the ocean wild.
My love is wine.
