You may be right, I may be too

You may be right, I may be too,
But separate truths are weak and few.
Alone, each truth can hardly stand —
It lacks the strength to understand.

For truth is not a one-man flame,
Nor something ego gets to claim.
It only lives where two can hear
And meet each other without fear.

From shards of what we each believe,
A wider world begins to breathe.
A fuller picture starts to show,
When both let something go.

When ego rests, when pride steps down,
When love, not self, is what we found,
We stop looking inside our own reflection
And turn toward another heart — connection.
