You may or may not
This is unfortunate when we are too late.
How many rounds you tried to play with luck for elation,
Losing a game after game in a moment of aberration.
This is unfair what we get at the birth, at the start,
This is unfortunate you may be not witty nor smart.
How many karmic relations tried to pull the strings,
To chain you by a web, to make you fold your torn wings.
You may or may not be very lucky, be rich,
You may be a gentleman, you may be a b**ch.
You may or may not be self-conscious and deep.
You may be an empath, you may be a creep.
You never know what you may be or may not,
Even when everything plays out in your plot.
You never know how events decide to turn out to be,
One second you’re lucky, next moment you must flee.
You may or may not be miserable, be pitiably poor,
You may be all by yourself, you may be trapped by amour.
You may or may not enjoy all the drama your life is filled with,
You may be a saint, may be a sinner from religious myth.
The Earth has never been fair to creatures it shelters,
It was foretold by stories we heard from the elders.
Whether it is absurdly fair, whether it is absolutely not,
You may get a poison or you may get an antidote.
Distribution of forces, brutal distribution of power,
Dictated by chance when one accepts to devour.
How many fatal encounters you may survive, you may not,
Randomness is playing around with your life to put a bold dot.
