Red light

I see the way you treat them when you think no one’s around,
cut a little deeper, then you smooth it with a smile.
Yeah, you’re good to me—but something feels off,
there’s a flicker in the pattern, like a glitch I can’t stop.

I got a radar for the fake, it’s burning red,
every word you say gets scanned inside my head.
I feel it in my gut, like a quiet alarm—
why wait for the moment when it turns into harm?

I read the signs, I read between the lines,
I call it truth—but maybe it’s my mind…

Red light, red light — radar going off,
red light, red light — something’s feeling off.
Red light, red light — I already know,
red light, red light — I should let it go.

Red light, red light — everything’s too loud,
red light, red light — lost inside the crowd.
Red light, red light — spinning in my head,
red light, red light — everywhere I look is red.

I walk around like I can see it all,
every hidden motive, every rise and fall.
I say I know people better than they know themselves,
but I keep pointing fingers at everybody else.

I complain about the world, about the noise, about the lies,
say my scanner’s broken ‘cause it never lets me rest.
Then it hits me out of nowhere, like a mirror to my face—
I’m the signal, I’m the source, I’m the mess.

I read the signs, I read between the lines,
I call it truth—and now I see it’s mine…

Red light, red light — radar going off,
red light, red light — something’s feeling off.
Red light, red light — I already know,
red light, red light — I should let it go.

Red light, red light — everything’s too loud,
red light, red light — lost inside the crowd.
Red light, red light — spinning in my head,
red light, red light — everywhere I look is red.

Locked on me, locked on me —
radar turned around on me.
From me, from me —
it was always from me.

Change, change, change —
through the understanding, change.
Shift inside, shift the frame —
I don’t have to play the same.

It’s not evil, it’s a scale, it’s a tone,
it’s the way that people learn to be known.
I don’t fight it, I just change what I see,
turn the red into a different frequency.
