The Evil Dead 1981
Through dense woods the car creeps slow,
Five friends where wild winds blow.
Ash at the wheel, a carefree grin,
But the cabin’s dark — a sin within.
Shelly steps in, dust on the floor,
Scott lights the lamp, shadows at the door.
Cheryl shivers, “Something’s wrong…”
Linda sighs, “Let’s stay strong.”
[Pre;Chorus 1]
Down the creaky stairs they go,
Where cold winds whisper down below.
A leather;bound tome, a tape in sight —
Scott presses play… it’s the dead’s rite.
[Chorus]
Spells echo out, the ground starts to shake,
Vines claw the walls, no escape they’ll make.
Lights flicker out, darkness takes its toll,
One by one, they lose control.
Spells echo out, the ground starts to shake,
Vines claw the walls, no escape they’ll make.
Lights flicker out, darkness takes its toll,
One by one, they lose control.
[Verse 2: The Awakening]
The tape hisses, a voice so cold,
Ancient words that can’t be told.
Earthquake shakes the ancient wood,
Evil rises, misunderstood.
Blood;red symbols on the wall,
Whispers calling, one and all.
“Join us now,” the voices moan,
As the darkness claims its own.
[Verse 3: Cheryl’s Possession]
Cheryl screams, her eyes turn black,
Her voice is deep, no turning back.
She grabs a blade with demon’s might,
Ash staggers back in cold fright.
Scott leaps forward, tries to restrain,
But she’s too strong — he falls in pain.
Blood stains the floor, the night turns red,
Outside, the trees whisper dread.
[Verse 4: Shelly and Linda’s Fear]
Shelly pulls Linda near the fire,
“Bar the doors!” — their hearts conspire.
Wood splinters as claws break through,
Cheryl’s laugh — cold, untrue.
From the hall she hisses low,
“You can’t hide, you can’t go.”
Her skin splits open, bones reshape,
No longer Cheryl — pure demonic hate.
[Bridge 1: Desperate Measures]
Ash finds the grimoire, its pages curl,
“Destroy it now!” — but flames swirl, whirl.
The tape rewinds, the voice returns,
Spirits dance as the cabin burns.
He grabs the chainsaw, teeth like steel,
Cuts through night, a desperate deal.
Shelly’s gone, Linda’s pale,
Only ash where hope once sailed.
[Verse 5: Linda’s Possession and Final Fight]
Linda’s eyes turn glassy, cold,
Her grip is iron, story’s told.
She drags him close with demon’s will,
Ash swings the blade — a bitter thrill.
Blood spills out, but sanity’s thin,
Faces watch from deep within.
Madness creeps, the walls all breathe,
No way out, no relief.
[Interlude: Madness Descends]
(Instrumental break with eerie whispers)
“Join us… join us… you can’t win…”
The voices echo, crawling in.
Ash’s grip tightens on the saw,
Last defense before the fall.
[Final Chorus]
Spells echo out, the ground starts to shake,
Vines claw the walls, no escape they’ll make.
Lights flicker out, darkness takes its toll,
One by one, they lose control.
Spells echo out, the ground starts to shake,
Vines claw the walls, no escape they’ll make.
Lights flicker out, darkness takes its toll,
One by one, they lose control.
[Verse 6: Dawn and Revelation]
Dawn is pale, the forest still,
Ash stands alone, his blood runs chill.
He turns to look — the cabin’s old,
But in the window, a grin appears bold.
Footsteps creak on rotten wood,
Something stirs, not understood.
The book lies buried, deep in soil,
Evil waits, with demon’s guile.
[Outro: The Curse Lives On]
The wind howls through the deadwood trees,
Whispering secrets on the breeze.
Ash walks on, but in his eyes,
The darkness grows, no compromise.
The Necronomicon — still here, clear,
In his mind, the voices near.
One man walks, the rest are gone,
In his soul, the curse lives on.
