Holy martyr Franz, faithful witness of truth.


Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
O Franz, you did not bow your knee to the darkness of this world,
You chose the narrow path, bearing your heavy cross after Me.
Pray for us, of little faith, when the storm of fear is so near.

You became this salt, shedding your blood for peace and mercy.
In the dungeon you found freedom, in iron chains — the peace of the Kingdom.
Strengthen our hearts, that we may love our enemies and not serve two masters.
