Deep Feelings
We shrink from honesty to the point our voices rasp and fail.
Ashamed of love in its truest form,
for love lays every feeling bare.
To simply trust is to feel fear—and vulnerability.
We trade love for a cheap affair,
masked as faceless and fleeting desire—
with no scent of home, so deeply, achingly known.
And the most terrible thing of all—
is to live without love.
In a society of soulless, perfect clones
a human heart is quietly broken—
made cynical, double-faced,
convinced that love is no longer needed.
Hold your feelings close within you.
Warm your own heart.
Listen inward — what is it trying to say?
The answers have always lived inside you.
Do you wish to know this world?
Then know yourself—you are a world entire.
The world is filled with love—just look.
Faith, and a trembling joy.
Forgiving yourself, you will be able to forgive others.
Replacing anger with a smile,
and the warmth of strong embraces
in which the scent is so familiar, almost known by heart
Just feel it—you are home.
And then the ice will melt.
I understand—trust is not easy.
But believe that anything is possible. Just live.
A better life is waiting for you.
