Prayer to Deusdedit Cantuariensis

Righteous Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
We raise our voice to You in humble silence.
Through Your servant, Deusdedit, the good shepherd,
Who led Your sheep along the truthful path.
He did not seek riches, but stored up treasures in heaven,
Where neither moth nor rust consumes them.

Holy Shepherd of Canterbury, lead us to the Light,

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
He stood amidst plague and sorrow, like a good Samaritan,
Bringing comfort to the suffering, healing the wounds of the soul.
Where two or three are gathered in My name,
There is the grace of his holy intercession.
