Witching Hour Heart
Just to have a little fun,
Thinking: "What a weirdo,
I will mock this older one!"
But as soon as I walked by,
You were frozen, lost for words;
Something clicked deep down inside,
Intuition finally stirred.
I was more than just a man,
Like a shock of current through you!
Your old witchy senses ran
And they instantly drew you.
You tried hard to take a peek
At a soul so deep and tough,
But you realized you’re weak:
Watching me is not enough.
You were searching for a sign,
Trying hard to read my soul,
But the stars would not align,
And you started losing hold!
I possessed a hidden light
With a gentle, healing hand,
Having walked through day and night
Only I could understand.
Standing firm upon your ground,
Where no hidden truth was found,
You invited me to stay.
As I stepped through the door...
Words just vanished all the way.
Though you’d cast a spell before
To keep the world at bay,
Nothing dark could enter there.
None could hurt or make you cry,
Then you knew, beyond despair,
That you’d never say goodbye.
Kindness filled the quiet room.
For the guest you didn't know,
And, like flowers in their bloom,
Love began to breathe and grow.
All the walls began to fall.
As the gown fell to the floor,
In that moment, through it all,
You had found what you looked for.
Through the stillness of the night,
Heart to heart and soul to soul,
Everything at last felt right,
Finally becoming whole...
