Blood Green River

An embryo of emptiness froze in the womb of pines,
Where the root drinks sap from blind permafrost.
Through the ribs of ravines this poison flows —
A death rite curdled into greenery.
There, flesh peels off like old fuel oil,
And shadows gnaw on prayers in the swamps.


Do you hear the vein of the earth bursting?
We are rooted in this sludge forever!
