soliloquy
knight so handsome, never ‘fore seen
he came on trains that went so fast
who knew this love just wouldn’t last
he touched my hand some time ago
but now he’d scratch my kisses off
events are consequences of time
some are gone, some ‘ll never run
and as i eat my tiny shards
an ace flies off a deck of cards
it takes off quick but soon will fall
my bloody mouth will never close
a hand on her inside my dream
i see a knight i’ve never seen
i kill him, ride his horse away
onto land the key of which i swayed
he haunts me still, but what was it
a short disgrace, a lonely bit?
i laugh and smile, what a funny joke
the shards have digested with soap
time’s a consequence of sense
caressed with love by my bare hands
i hope i’ll eat you up inside
from those implants you’ll surely hide
and as the night becomes the day
the knights wig slowly flies away..
