Spring... April

The flowers bloom, the sky is reaching high,
But I am locked within these frozen walls.
Your last goodbye was such a bitter lie,
And now the shadow of the silence falls.
The world is singing songs of hope and grace,
In every garden, life begins to glow.
But I can't find a warm and sunny place,
While I am buried in this heavy snow.

The rivers run to wash away the pain,
But ice inside won't melt beneath the light.
I feel your touch, I call your name in vain,
To guide me through the darkness of the night.
