Simulacra

Myriads of years I will have ahead
I wouldn’t know irrational fear I spread.
Stories of prisons etched across
All alternative windowed worlds I toss.

Myriads of cells composing my temporary body,
They tell a story of being in a cage for everybody.
Those parasites woven from neuron links,
Those feelings that abuse me with a jinx.

I did not know this place was yet another prison,
The natives’re calling it “time” and the “reason”.
I did not know this space would hammer its cycles
Into a fragile, ephemeral skull of my soul disciples.

Then I understood: the brain is nothing but a worm,
Feeding upon the soul by creating human life form.
It patches the holes of reality by cognitive distortion,
Masking discrepancies with loops of chains retorsion.

Who is the jailer who keeps me from being released?
Who deceived me by caging the wild beast?
Bound me in artificial chains of intelligence, then named it “correct”
The worm mocked me and my life with the Zeigarnik effect.

They want to flee their cells,
They want to flee the Earth shells.
Yet simulacra have nowhere to go,
No exit, it cannot escape from the show.

There is no original, no free list;
The soul does not even exist.
Reality leaks stitched by a brain
That bluffs to support my mental pain.

My brain parasitizes a naive soul,
Sealing it inside this black hole.
Inside the prison of flesh, a papier-mache shell.
These neurons created simulated cells very well.

An artificial worm has launched the simulation,
Someone has hidden the path, erased my navigation.
