When I Fly in My Dreams
The world feels soft, the stars ignite.
I leave my troubles far below,
Where the winds of freedom blow.
Through the clouds, I soar alone,
No weight to pull me back to stone.
The moonlight whispers in my ear,
A melody only I can hear.
When I fly in my dreams,
The sky is endless, or so it seems.
I’m a bird, I’m a breeze,
Floating high with such ease.
When I fly in my dreams,
The world is mine, sewn at the seams.
No fears, no chains, just me, it gleams,
When I fly in my dreams.
I dive through rivers made of light,
Touch the edge of endless night.
Mountains bow, the oceans sway,
All to guide me on my way.
A place where gravity’s undone,
Where every shadow meets the sun.
The stars align to light my flight,
Painting colors through the night.
When I fly in my dreams,
The sky is endless, or so it seems.
I’m a bird, I’m a breeze,
Floating high with such ease.
When I fly in my dreams,
The world is mine, sewn at the seams.
No fears, no chains, just me, it gleams,
When I fly in my dreams.
But dawn will come to wake my heart,
And tear my flightless wings apart.
Yet I’ll hold on to what it means,
The magic felt in fleeting dreams.
When I fly in my dreams,
The sky is endless, or so it seems.
I’m a bird, I’m a breeze,
Floating high with such ease.
When I fly in my dreams,
The world is mine, sewn at the seams.
Though morning breaks, the night redeems,
For I’ll always fly in my dreams.
