Beyond the Stars

Where my dreams take flight and soar,
Beyond a distant star’s faint glow,
Hides the one my heart adores,
The closest soul I’ll ever know.
I long to feel him by my side,
A wish that burns so deep within,
To steal him where the shadows hide,
