New York City, it's not just some place with tall buildings, you know? It's got this whole vibe, like a special outfit that only the city itself can wear. And the subway – wow! It’s not just how people get around, it's like the city's secret heartbeat, thumping beneath everything. Even when everyone’s rushing, a crazy river of people flowing by, I kind of just… drift along with it, like I’m floating. But even in all that whooshing and rushing, you find these little quiet spots. People will actually look at each other for a second, and then you see them, sitting at a little cafe nearby, and it’s just this amazing, rare thing. Someone’s reading a book! Oh, I so wish I could tiptoe closer and see what’s on the cover. It’s a whole world, all in one place.
