The Architect of Splendor

“To live a life of beauty” - whispers on the breeze,
A fleeting promise drifting in the breeze.
But hollow echoes, where no substance lies,
A gilded cage beneath indifferent skies.
It’s not the shimmer, not the easy gain,
That truly washes out the bitter stain.

No, the true design, the masterpiece we chase,
