Desolation

In the darkness I dwell, lost in shadows so deep,
Echoes haunt my soul with memories that won't sleep.
Through the midnight I roam, searching for a light,
But all I find is pain, endless sorrow's plight.

Tears of blood I've shed, but they cannot console.
Broken dreams lie shattered on this barren ground,
