Today, this wondrous, bright day,
The Lord has shown His love to me.
I’ve forgiven all who showed no grace,
Who cursed and struck – now I’m set free.
Love for all who walk this earth,
Who weep and sing, who feel reborn!
Oh wondrous God, You make it bright,
Why is Your warmth bestowed on me?
Then He said: “Go, give what you can,
Help those who ask – lend them a hand!
To all who’ve known such deep distress,
Who’ve fallen lone on life’s long path, yes.
In prayer, bless even those who fight,
On love’s journey, stand firm and bright!”
Thank You, God, for peace, for love,
And for Christ’s Blood, poured out for me!
