Clouds Drift Across the Sky

Clouds drift across the sky so wide,
And life is fleeting for all mankind.
We wander freely, year after year,
Not seeing sky or friends so near.

Time erases memories of the past,
But love remains — it won’t fade away.
Only faith, both night and day,
Calls us to trust in God, come what may.
