Spectre
A spirit, unseen yet dimly glowing,
Chained by eternal roaming,
Bound to endless torment’s flow,
Wandering through a darkened gloom.
Infused with bitterness and grief,
Swift and wild, an echo's brief relief,
Exhausted forever by regret,
Spirit dwells in hopeless restlessness.
Once bright and full of life's delight,
Now wraith-like, ghostly, fading light,
Without form or substance now,
Caught in sorrow's silent vow.
