Hope for salvation – it’s the Word!
Hope for salvation – like a hidden reef.
Hope for salvation –an anchor, firm and sure!
Hope for salvation – ground that stands secure.
Hope lives in us, and we in hope abide,
We love, we trust, we create with all our might.
We keep on hoping, just as we’ve done before,
That our anchor holds amid life’s tempest roar.
But life may bring a day, who knows,
When we set sail without an anchor cast,
Drifting with the wind – just like the birds that go,
Soaring high above the river’s vast.
May our faith and hope stay strong along the way,
Never failing, guiding us through night and day.
And may separation, as before,
Help us find the joy we’re longing for.
