Silence

What do you hear when lips stay still?
Your heart’s call? Yes – it’s deep, it’s real.
And you – why stay so quiet, still?
Go on, speak up, shout, sing, seek love, feel!

“Silence is gold,” you used to say,
But now you’re trapped in it, day by day.
What’s the charm if you don’t speak?
You’re mute as fish – no reason, weak.

You try to find the answer deep inside,
But in your heart’s core, thoughts won’t reside.
Only when you find your voice, set free,
You break the silence – let doubts flee.

So what is it – good or bad instead?
This silence that once filled your head?
I don’t know, but I’ll tell you this:
In silence, joy can fade – don’t miss.
