The Road to Albuquerque

I find that road again and again,
Through joy and hope, through tears and pain,
Dust on my boots, кровь на ветру,
But I keep walking — I always do.
El Camino Real, it calls my name,
Sixteen hundred miles of flame,
Silver Highway through time and soul,
Every mile makes a broken whole.

Oh, take me down that long Route 66,
Where the lost hearts dream and the spirit lifts,
A road of salvation, away from sin,
Leave it behind, let the light come in.

Rio Grande, you roll so wide,
But it’s not water in your tide,
It’s a dream we chase, we understand,
Si, you know it — like shifting sand.
Cliffs Park lights in the desert night,
Neon glowing, everything’s alright,
Don’t be afraid, no sharks in sight,
Just laughter rising with the ride.

Oh, take me down that long Route 66,
Where the broken past and the future mix,
A road of hope through dust and flame,
Call my soul by another name.

En la tierra roja, bajo el cielo azul,
Sigo mi camino, though I’m feeling the pull,
Corazon abierto, sin mirar atras,
Enchantment calls me — at last, at last.

Ahead where the desert meets the sky,
Chihuahua winds are blowing dry,
Albuquerque waits for me,
A land of deep mystery.
Turquoise shining high above,
And buried deep where I walk in love,
In every stone and every street,
That desert rhythm under my feet.

Oh, take me down that long Route 66,
Through sacred land and canyon cliffs,
A road of hope, of blood and grace,
New Mexico — my saving place.

Yeah, I find that road again and again…
And it leads me home in the desert wind.
