I saw, i never knew

I didn’t see, I never knew,
But felt it all, and I stayed true.
I feared, I thought, and I endured,
Yet I believed, lived, unassured.

Some days pass calm, a quiet peace,
Some days my heart’s in wild release,
My mood’s like sand beneath my feet –
It slips away, so incomplete.

And then my soul takes flight, like a bird,
Toward a true fate I’ve always heard,
Where a dear queen, so thoughtful, kind,
Sits in a rustic house, entwined.

Grant me strength, living world so bright,
To stay the self I am, in light.
To keep my soul’s serene delight,
And see those clear eyes, shining bright.
