Ice and Fire
I heard a story, can’t help over rhyme it
Walking the gardens with statues of Greece…
You’re cold like an ice, burn like a fire
Carved from a stone sculpture’s desire
Tell me, Apollo, my brother-in-law
How to slow down and go with the flow
Go with the stream, go with the tide,
When all the oceans and rivers are dried
I saw a dream: met with a giant
He called me rebel, eternal defiant,
Giant looked solid, rock-hard and mighty
Granting me purpose, guiding to blighty
He was cold like an ice, burnt like a fire,
Carved from a stone, sculpture’s desire
Went with the stream, went with the tide
Rode the wild wind if all waters were dried
Carve your own stone to majestic desire
Carve from a stone your majestic desire
