Cosmos

Cosmos.
By the cautious threads of stars,
By the home-longing tears,
They painfully stretch into the infinite.
Cosmos.
By the black abyss of fires,
And children wandering within it,
Will they truly remain there forever?
But can it be true —
That all who flew,
Who wandered on these paths,
In their stellar ships?
That all who could,
And who survived
In cruel, unequal battles,
Through hardship and through fear —
Are not fated
To drink the wine
From the warm plantations of the Earth?
Where the grapes are golden,
From the mountain slopes of Fate,
Where the snow is infinitely sparkling.
Cosmos.
To them, you are deeply silent,
Having killed the hope within the heart,
Becoming neither enemy nor brother.
Cosmos.
You know that in their souls there burns
The blueprint of unknown orbits,
And the route to return back home.
