Purple Rose Sonnet

Remember is all I can in plunder,
Theft of century took place,
She went away, that was like thunder,
And threw the ring in my face.

She didn't want to hear hundred times,
Autumn came as sudden tempest.
I swore solemnly in faith, no lies,
But Lioness was fierce and rampant.

Though leaves are brown, love is purple,
Still I tell Thee "Ego te amo",
Back home my huntress, awaiting curdle,
Weakest peace is better than a war.

Cupid's meant to strike whoever,
Let's unite the parts, don't sever.
